Gas Check R2 Series

GAS CHECK R2 SERIES

For leak detection and measurement of all CFC, HFC and HCFC refrigeration and air conditioning systems

Leak test a wide range of products pressurized with a traceable gas

Safety check gas cylinders, halon filled fire extinguishers

Calibration to NAMAS or NIST standards

The GAS CHECK Model R2 is a portable, rechargeable leak indicator specially designed for the production leak testing of refrigeration and air conditioning components or others pressurized with a tracer gas. Light weight and cordless, the R2 will reliably locate and pinpoint leaks of CFCs and HCFCs at very low levels of leakage. The Gas Check features a choice of display units, either as a gas weight loss (gm/yr) or as a concentration of gas leakage in air (ppm). Readily calibrated against NAMAS or NIST internationally recognized standards, a unique compensating circuit automatically allows for background levels of CFCs to be subtracted out as well as limiting the effects of environmental changes (temperature and humidity).

SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES

  • Minimum detectable leak level 3 gm/yr R134a
  • Response time 2 seconds, with cleardown to zero five seconds
  • Cordless - no trailing cable
  • Detector life approximately five years
  • Choice of standard and long probes for easy access to tight spots
  • Loud audible warning, brightly lighted LED visual indicator
  • Calibration traceable to NAMAS or NIST standards
