Gas Detector Useful as a Leak Locator

Boylston, MA: TM Electronics, Inc. offers a line of trace gas sensing leak detectors. The GAS CHECK Series identifies the source of gas leaks quickly and easily, and enables you to quantitatively measure any leakage found.

The closed test part is pressurized with a tracer gas, and the sensor is moved around the part to determine if and where there is a detectable leakage of the tracer gas. Hand held and cordless, the GAS CHECK is simply traced around suspect flanges, valves, and joints - leaks are pin-pointed with an audible alarm and a direct leak rate reading in a choice of units. This is particularly useful when working to quality or emission standards that should be below a certain level.

The GAS CHECK Model R2 is a portable, rechargeable leak indicator specially designed for the production leak testing of refrigeration and air conditioning components or others pressurized with a tracer gas. The instrument can be used with one hand, and the special flexible long probe provided allows easy access to difficult to reach areas.

There are various models in the GAS CHECK Series to choose from, including a BASEEFA approved intrinsically safe version for hazardous gases and work areas.
