Leak Testers and Flow Testers for Food Packaging Applications
TME is aware of the many variations on the need to test food packaging, such as the degree of permeability of the package and the strength of the seal to withstand transport and storage stresses. Package testing can be regarded as a two part process. Your package testing system should include both package integrity (leak) testing and seal strength testing, two complementary but very different procedures. Leak Testers and Flow Testers for Medical Devices
We at TME have over 25 years of experience and tested thousands of medical device and package designs. We understand that implementing a leak and/or package test system for medical devices is more complex than at first glance, and TME has designed our product line of test instruments with this in mind. For example, the design of a multi-lumen catheter must permit each lumen to be tested during its production. Any testing, therefore, should be conducted on each lumen of the catheter. An approach to leak testing suitable for leak testing blood bags, for example, could not be used if your product is a cannula or a catheter. There are many questions to consider when designing and implementing a leak tester system for your medical device or product.
